Cozy up with a cup of tea and candle to compose a little note of encouragement, gratitude, or love in greeting cards featuring Aurora’s whimsical paintings. Each card in the set of five features a high quality print of a different artwork from a series Aurora created earlier this year. Sheep, Chickens, Candle, Home, and Desk. Each A7 (5x7”) card is left blank inside, with information about the card and artwork on the back, and comes with a brown paper envelope. These cards are created, designed, printed, packaged and shipped from our homeland of Canada.
After Aurora and Levi lost their home to a fire in March, they longed to create—both as a way to process the pain, but also to find comfort and peace in the act of creating amidst the tangled wilderness of a life turned upside down. This series of paintings was one of the first things that flowed out on to the page from Aurora’s heart and hands. Using paints and paper from her Mama, and little bits of newspaper and brown paper gift bags, cut into shapes and glued down to add texture. She created the series with a set of greeting cards in mind, hoping they would tell stories of comfort and home, whilst being versatile and useful through every season and any occasion.
The cards will be shipped out within 5-7 business days of placing your order. We ask humbly for your patience and grace as we are doing this from a little basement between our busy day jobs and other ongoing projects.
